About Ivy Street

The Church was started here in 1958 by a preacher named James Cochran. The Philadelphia Church of Christ helped keep the church going after James Cochran left. The Seventh Street Church of Christ in Columbus Mississippi helped the church here until it got to a self-supporting status. The church has been self-supporting since the late nineties.
